The SAQA US ID 262745 qualification is rated at NQF Level 2, carries 10 credits, spans a two-week duration, and requires one day for recertification or license renewal.
Dump trucks, also known as articulated dump trucks (ADTs) or dumper trucks, are essential vehicles for the transportation of loose materials in construction and dumping sites, and this operator training course equips you with the knowledge to efficiently operate a dump truck, covering aspects such as startup, shutdown, and operational procedures.
This Program consists of a 30% theory component and a 70% practical ADT training and assessment portion.

Every participant is required to reach a minimum score of 80% in Theoretical Assessments and excel with a flawless 100% in Practical Assessments to meet the program's expectations.
The training program encompasses essential topics such as personal safety through the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), discussions on how dump truck safety impacts workplace driving, hazard identification to prevent injuries and accidents, safe practices related to batteries and tires, and the protection of other personnel in the vicinity.
To ensure safety,all learners enrolling in the ADT training course will demonstrate competency in communication and mathematical literacy at NQF Level 1. To enroll, you will need a valid national ID or passport, a code 10 driver's license, and your CV for job placement assistance. Additionally, for license renewal or refresher courses, an old copy of the dump truck license and certificate of competence is required.
